TY MCBEE

PERFORMANCE COACH

TY’S BACKGROUND

& EXPERIENCE

As a Performance Coach at AP, Ty draws on his background as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), his degree in exercise science from The Ohio State University, and more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare and community development to help athletes build functional strength, cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and mental toughness. Specializing in boxing conditioning, Ty's approach is rooted in the belief that physical resilience is about more than fitness — it's about confidence, discipline, emotional regulation, community connection, and the capacity to face hard things with courage and humility.

Ty currently leads McBee Strategy & Resiliency Group, where he focuses on community development, health, outdoor recreation, and building local capacity. His semi-retirement from a long healthcare career has allowed him to return to his roots in physical training and human performance.
