SYDNEY FOGLESONG
PERFORMANCE COACH
SYDNEY’S BACKGROUND
& EXPERIENCE
As a Performance Coach Intern at AP, Sydney draws on her experience as a collegiate thrower at the University of Cincinnati and multi-sport All-Ohio high school athlete, along with her ongoing studies in Exercise Science, to help young athletes develop the strength, technique, and competitive mindset needed to compete at the next level. Her firsthand understanding of what it takes to train at a high level — across multiple sports and at the collegiate level — gives her a unique perspective when working with athletes of all ages.
Sydney currently competes for the University of Cincinnati Track & Field team as a junior thrower, specializing in the shot put, discus, hammer throw, and weight throw. She has posted personal bests across all four events during her time with the Bearcats, including top-10 all-time program marks in the weight throw, discus, and hammer throw, along with a podium finish in the discus at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.
A Frankfort, Ohio native, Sydney was a standout multi-sport athlete at Adena High School, where she competed in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She was named First Team All-Ohio in volleyball (Division III, 2022) and helped lead the Warriors to back-to-back Scioto Valley Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022. On the track, she established herself as one of the top throwers in southern Ohio before bringing her game to the collegiate level.
