PRESTON’S BACKGROUND

& EXPERIENCE

As a Performance Coach at AP, Preston draws on his background as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), his experience coaching at the collegiate level, and his career as a multi-sport collegiate and high school athlete to help young athletes develop the strength, speed, and discipline needed to compete at the next level.

Preston also currently serves as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he works with student-athletes across the Wildcats' athletic department. He serves as a Performance Coach Rep for AP's adjacent software company, Weight Room Coach, where he helps coaches and advanced PE instructors structure\ and simplify strength and conditioning programs for their student-athletes.

WHO COMPETED

Preston earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he played defensive back and was named team captain for the Wildcats football program. As a junior in 2024, he was named All-MSFA Mideast First Team and recognized as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

A Frankfort, Ohio native, Preston was a standout dual-threat quarterback and defensive back at Adena High School, where he led the Warriors to their first Scioto Valley Conference title and Gold Ball since 2010. As a senior, he was named First Team All-Ohio, Division IV Southeast District Player of the Year, and SVC Defensive Back of the Year, while also helping the Adena basketball program capture its first district title in decades.
